Dates and Themes:
Dates and Times: We will be offering four individual Saturday Day Camps on November 29th, December 6th, December 13th, and December 20th. Camp will be from 10 am – 3 pm. *Each Saturday will operate as an individual camp purchase.*

 

Pricing: Member: $80 per day – Non-Members: $90 per day

Purchase of camp comes with a Camper T-shirt and 1 Guest Pass (valid through December 31, 2025) There will be no Before or After Care offered for Winter STEM Camps

 

Other Information: Be sure to register your child(ren) for their current grade level. Campers must be 5 years old before the start of camp in order to attend. All activities are subject to change. Registration closes at noon on the Friday before the camp begins.

Cancellation Policy: If for any reason you need to cancel your registration for camp, you must do so no later than two weeks prior to the start of your camper’s session for a 50% refund.

November 29th – Robotics: The Case of the Runaway Snowman

Each activity is designed to enhance your understanding of coding and engineering concepts while sparking curiosity about the latest innovations in robotics and space technology. December 6th – Aviation: Take Flight with Rudolph 

Get ready for an extraordinary adventure with “Take Flight with Rudolph!” This winter, join us for an aviation camp crafted specifically for sixth through eighth-grade science explorers.

Dive into the complexities of flight with Rudolph as your expert guide in this hands-on experience. Engage with our Mysteries of Flight demonstration to explore the intricate principles behind aircraft flight, including a detailed study of Bernoulli’s principle and its real-world applications.

You’ll have the opportunity to design, build, and refine your own aircraft models using a state-of-the-art wind tunnel. Delve into the engineering challenges faced by real aircraft, experiment with advanced flying techniques, and gain insights into the future of aviation technology. December 13th – Space: Winter Storm Warning on Mars

Prepare for an out-of-this world adventure with “Winter Storm Warning on Mars,” a winter STEM camp for sixth through eighth-grade science explorers! Embark on an epic journey to the Red Planet and delve into the complexities of surviving and thriving in the harsh environment of space.

Inspired by the Curiosity rover, this camp offers an in-depth, hands-on exploration of space science and Martian conditions. Dive into advanced weather phenomena by analyzing how various liquids freeze under different conditions to understand the unique climate of Mars.

Experience liquid nitrogen as you enjoy your own cup of ultra-chilled “hot” chocolate, uncovering the science behind this dramatic temperature effect. Engage in our Space Freeze Program to see the effects of extreme cold on a range of materials and learn about the critical role temperature plays in space exploration.
