Registration is open online 24/7 beginning Feb 10, 2024

Dates and Times: Weekly camps from June 17 – August 16 • Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Pricing: Members: $300 per week • Non-members: $325 per week

Camper T-Shirt, 3 Guest Passes (valid through October 31, 2024)

15 campers in each classroom

Before Care (8am – 9am): $50 • After Care (3pm – 5:30pm): $100

Other Information: Be sure to register your child(ren) for the grade that they will be entering for the coming school year (rising grade level). Campers must be at least 5 years old before the start of camp in order to attend. All activities are subject to change. Registration closes at noon on the Friday before the camp begins.

*While every child is welcome at our summer camps, our staff is not trained to care for special needs campers. While this in no way limits your child’s ability to attend our summer camps, should their behavior move beyond our abilities/disturb other campers, your child may be removed from the camp with no refund. We reserve the right, in consultation with parents/guardians, to ascertain whether the program is appropriate.

Cancellation Policy: If for any reason you need to cancel your registration for camp, you must do so no later than two weeks prior to the start of your camper’s session for a 50% refund. Otherwise, you may reschedule for another week of camp if there are openings. Rescheduled weeks of camp are not eligible for refunds. No refunds will be made for missed classes or dismissal from the program for disciplinary reasons.

Enter the robot revolution! Young scientists explore the world of programming through VEX Series, Lego EV3s, Lego Wedos, Spheros, Edisons, Ozobots, and Bee-Bots. Learn how robots communicate through binary, text-based, and block-based coding. Explore the world of circuit building through SnapCircuits and build a video game controller with Makey Makey. Enjoy robot races while learning about NASA’s latest and coolest space tech. Investigate careers in robotics and discover the exciting ways robots are used in our world and in space!

Week 2: June 24-June 28 | NASA Air Academy II – SOLD OUT

It’s a bird… it’s a plane… it’s the science of flight! Join us on an aviation adventure as we explore the world of flight. Experience firsthand the forces of flight and Bernoulli’s principle through our Mysteries of Flight demonstration. Build and test a model airplane to better understand airplane anatomy. Test your pilot skills and fly a drone through an obstacle course. Investigate careers in aviation and learn about some of the coolest aircraft and unmanned aircraft systems being developed by NASA engineers and scientists.

Week 3: July 8-12 | NASA Moon Base Alpha II – SOLD OUT

Pack your bags for a trip to the Red Planet! What do you need to survive in space? Find out what Curiosity has taught us about the Red Planet and learn the Challenges of exploring a planet with a rover. Train to be an astronaut as you explore living, working, and playing in space. Outer Space, here we come! Space may be the final frontier, but getting there requires rockets. Experiment with different types of fuel to see which causes the biggest blast, create edible rockets, and build your own rockets to challenge friends for the highest lift-off! Investigate careers in space and learn how NASA is preparing for life on the Moon and on Mars through the Artemis project.

Week 4: July 15-19 | NASA Engineer It II – SOLD OUT

Gear up your imagination as you explore the world of force and motion! Discover the importance of simple machines and use them to design, engineer, and test a Rube Goldberg Machine. Build a marble run and experiment with chain reactions while being introduced to the principles of gravity and friction. Investigate Newton’s Laws of Motion in action by engineering a roller coaster, designing a rover, and building a catapult. Living and working in space requires a water source. Engineer a Water Filtration Device using the same engineering principles as NASAs revolutionary Water Recovery System. Engineer and design a space capsule with a parachute system to return an Eggstronaut safely from outer space. Investigate careers in engineering from civil to software, and learn how NASA engineering design process can be used in everyday life.
