It is Virginia Air and Space Science Center’s intention to provide an exciting curriculum that enhances the mission that ignites curiosity and innovation in STEM through education, discovery, and interactive experiences for explorers of all ages.

Scout Camp-ins are not designed to fulfill requirements of badge work, pins or belt loops. VASSC Educators are not certified Merit Badge Counselors and are not able to sign blue cards.

Registration: A minimum of 10 Scouts are required to book a reservation. Scout Camp-in reservations that do not meet this minimum will be cancelled. A 50% deposit payment is required at the time of request to hold the reservation. Reservations will be confirmed once deposit is received. Failure to make final payment will result in loss of reservation. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the scheduled Camp-in.

Changes to group reservations may be accepted up to 60 days prior to event with approval of Scout Program Coordinator by email. Reservation changes are not guaranteed.
Cancellation Policy: Should you decide to cancel, you will receive your deposit amount if you cancel 60 days before the program date. Transfer of credit may be used for booking another overnight program date.

VASSC reserves the right to modify grade level grouping based on space to enhance the program quality. A completed roster of all attendees and a signed online Overnight Scout Program Expectations Agreement is required with final payment. No additional participants can be added after registration is complete. Two adults are required to be with your group during your overnight stay. We do not permit drop-off or unsupervised youth at Camp-ins.

Fees: $65 Scouts and Siblings $45 Adults

$30 Rockets (Add-on for Space Science Exploration 4th grade and up)
