Riverside 3D IMAX
Theater Goes Digital

The Virginia Air & Space Center’s Riverside 3D IMAX Theater will receive a facelift this fall that will allow the Center to better serve its IMAX visitors. According to Deputy Director Kim Hinson, “To bring our visitors the IMAX films they desire and improve our theater’s comfort, it is necessary to upgrade our IMAX system to the latest technology and replace our theater seating.”

 

In order to improve our theater comfort for our visitors and upgrade to the most state of the-art digital IMAX system available, the Riverside IMAX Theater will be
CLOSED temporarily: Sept. 7 - Sept. 23 for renovations

The IMAX Theater is scheduled to re-open
September 24 with Legend of the Guardians:
