Indulge your sweet tooth as the new traveling exhibit, Jelly Belly® presents CANDY UNWRAPPED. Visitors will discover the science of sweets by exploring the biology, chemistry, physiology and psychology of candy. This interactive journey through sweets and sours is sure to leave everyone drooling for more.

From the how and whys of taste, to the many uses of sugar, Jelly Belly® presents CANDY UNWRAPPED appeals to every sense with colorful interactive science activities. The Energy Burn exercise bike allows guests to peddle away and determine how much of a sugar cube can be burned off in one minute. Their progress is charted using LED readouts that illustrate how the human body processes sugar into energy. The Sugar Stack will leave visitors standing in awe as they discover how much sugar is used by a person over their lifetime. Crystal Mountain offers the rare chance to view the beauty of sugars chemical design, the stages of crystal growth and the final commercialized product. Sugar is not only used for eating. A number of properties that make sugar ideal in the production of everyday items are revealed in Sugar Works.

Pucker Up is a sensory overload as visitors taste a super sour candy and discover why puckering up is an instinctual reaction. An oh-so-cushy tongue describes how taste buds work, the complexity of the human tongue and why cavities develop in Taste Bud Tango. Flavor has as much to do with the nose as the tongue. In Who Nose Flavour a jelly bean taste test allows visitors to test their tasting skills and to understand the difference between taste and flavor. Smell is one of the biggest triggers of emotion. Sweet Memories takes a walk down memory lane with activities that explain the power of the olfactory memories of candy.
