9th Annual Blackbeard Pirate Festival
May 30, 31 & June 1, 2008
Set
sail for Hampton’s Blackbeard Festival where living
history and family fun go hand-in-hand. Immerse yourself
in1780s Hampton with live entertainment, pirate camp, children’s
activities, sea battles, fireworks and more, as Hampton reenacts
and celebrates the demise of Blackbeard, one of the fiercest
pirates ever known.

Rockefeller Center right in the heart of Hampton, the rink provides
more than 5,000 square feet of icy surface for public skating,
special events, skating demonstrations
and more. A series of special events are held each month.

6, 2008 • 3 p.m. to 9 p.m
The holidays couldn’t be brighter with Downtown Hampton’s Winter
Wonderland Holiday Tree Lighting kicking off the season. The evening will glisten
with the official lighting of the Holiday Tree and illuminates with a dazzling
display of holiday fireworks! The event also includes festive music, horse and
carriage rides, children’s activities and winter treats like hot chocolate,
apple cider and roasted nuts.
