AIr & Space Center's holiday ice skating rink. Located at
the Virginia Air & Space
Center, the rink provides public skating, special events,
skating demonstrations and more!
• Where is Downtown Hampton on Ice located?

• Is the ice skating rink located outdoors?
Yes, Downtown Hampton on Ice is an outdoor
ice skating rink! You must enter
through
& purchase tickets
inside at the Virginia Air
& Space Center .
• How do I get to Downtown Hampton on Ice?
Visiting Downtown Hampton is easy. Simply
take I-64 to exit 267. Follow Settlers Landing Rd into the
Downtown area.

on Ice are on the left.

block further on your right
• On which day is Downtown Hampton on Ice expected
to close?
The ice rink will close for the season

• Will Downtown Hampton on Ice be operating on Christmas
Eve and Christmas Day?
Yes, the ice rink will be operating daily, December
21 - 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
*December 24 (Christmas Eve): 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
*December 25 (Christmas Day): 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
*December 31 (New Year's Eve): 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
*January 1 (New Year's Day): 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

How long are the skating sessions?
The skating sessions are approximately
2 hours each. Click here to see the schedule.
Is there an area to sit if I don't want to skate?
Yes, we have a seated area next the ice
rink. • Are there any days in which the ice skating rink
will not be in operation?
No, once open the rink will operate daily
through the month of March.
• What is the price of admission?
Skating is only $6 per person
• Where can I buy tickets?
Tickets are available at the front
desk inside the Virginia Air & Space
Center
• Will ice skates be available for rental?
Yes, skates can be rented for only $2
• I have my own skates is it ok for me to use them?
Visitors are welcome to bring their own skates.
• If I bring my own skates do I still have to pay admission?
Yes, anyone enjoying the holiday ice skating rink has an admission
price of $6
• Will there be food and beverages available for purchase?
Yes, enjoy a variety of treats, such as
hotdogs, candy, cookies, muffins and popcorn,
plus
a wide
selection
of beverages inside the museum at our Cosmic Cafe.
• Where is the closest restroom to the ice skating
rink?
Restrooms are located inside the Virginia
Air & Space
Center next to the Café.
• What if I don’t know how to skate?
Downtown Hampton on Ice will be offering
skating workshops for those who need
a little help with their
skating abilities.

• What is the Skate Pass?
The Skate Pass includes unlimited skating for the entire season
for only $50.

The Winter Fun Pass is a $31.90 value for
only $24.00! It is a punch card that includes exhibit admission,
ice-skating,
a ride on the motion simulator, a ride on the new F-18 Jet
